If you apply for a loyalty card we will also use the personal information provided by you on the application form in order to process your application and establish the required record of you as a loyalty card holder. We will also collect and link your transaction history with the record we hold of you as a loyalty card holder.

We will also use your details to send you special offers and promotions available at Thetford Garden Centre through the post and, with your consent, via email. A record will also be kept of your consent and contact preferences.

We will not provide your information to third parties other than as set out below.

Retention of data
How long your data is retained by us will depend on how and when you provide us with your information.

If you apply and become a loyalty card holder, we will retain your details for the period you are an active loyalty card holder. If you do not use your loyalty card for a period of 2 years we will contact you to check that you want to remain a loyalty card holder. If we do not receive any confirmation from you within a reasonable time we will proceed to close your loyalty card account and your details will be retained for up to 6 years following our last communication with you.

All other information you provide to us in relation to any enquiries, orders or payments will be retained by us for a period of up to 6 years, in line with required accounting requirements.
