This is a great opportunity to join an established business in our successful restaurant. This is a position within our Kitchen team offering full time and part time hours per week in various shift patterns.

The right candidate will need to have experience in a busy working environment, be a good team player and have an interest in good food service. This role can be an opportunity for career progression for the right candidate.

 

Main duties include:

  • To lead & motivate wash up team
  • Ensure crockery/cutlery & pots are thoroughly cleaned
  • Clean food prep areas & equipment
  • Unload food & equipment
  • Keep stockroom/fridges/freezers well organised
  • Keep work surfaces/wall & floors clean and sanitised

A positive, can-do attitude is a must.

Head Barista

This is a great opportunity to join an established family business in our busy successful restaurant Lime Kiln Kitchen, working as a key member of our Front of House team.

As a Head Barista, you will be responsible for supervising and leading the barista team, stock taking and ordering as well as preparing consistently high-quality beverages.

 

Main duties:

  • Ordering and maintaining supplies in line with forecasted demand
  • Stock take
  • Supporting and leading barista team
  • Preparing a wide variety of beverages to the highest standard
  • Ensuring equipment and workspace is kept to a consistently high standard, prioritising cleanliness and organisation

Key skills required:

  • Previous supervisor and barista experience essential
  • Ability to multitask and work calmly under pressure
  • Able to operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
  • A natural communicator who can lead, train and encourage new baristas to develop
  • Ability to create latte art
  • A passion for coffee

Chef de Partie

This is a great opportunity to join an established business in our busy, successful restaurant. Working alongside the Head Chef as a key member of out kitchen team, serving all fresh locally sourced produce.

Key Skills Required:

  • Experience gained working as a Chef/Cook in busy restaurant/catering operations
  • Creativity – the ability to assist in creating new menus with a hands-on approach and eye for detail
  • An understanding of legislation and compliance
  • A positive attitude and outgoing personality are a must
  • A strong desire to have autonomy in your job and ambition to develop your career in line with the business growing
  • Have a flexible approach to working
  • Pizza making experience is an advantage but not necessary

Barista

  • Experience gained working as a Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in busy commercial catering or restaurant operations
