Do you know someone who deserves to have their garden spruced up?

As part of the Thetford Garden Centre’s annual support for the local community, the centre is offering one lucky resident in the local area the services of their staff for a day to tidy and brighten their garden.

A day’s worth of help and advice will be offered on a set date in May, as well as a few forks, shovels and a bit of man power from the Garden Centre experts. The day will be awarded to a deserving cause nominated by a friend, relative or neighbour.

Locals are invited to submit their suggestions with an explanation as to why they deserve to win via email to marie.turner@thetfordgardencentre.co.uk, or by picking up a nomination form in store. Entries must be received by midday Friday 26th April 2019.

Lucy Nixon, Managing Director of the centre and second-generation family member, “Our family business was started by my mother and father in 1982 and has grown from the support of the local community. The majority of our 88 staff members live locally, and we support the local community every year in many ways, including getting out into the town as often as we can”.

“This garden patch tidy includes help and advice with choosing planting options to fit around lifestyle, giving the winner every encouragement to maintain the look longer term”.    

Terms and conditions apply: the garden must be within 10 miles of the garden centre and work will be carried out on 20th May 2019. A small team from the centre will be doing the work, and work will be decided upon in advanec with the winner. Thetford Garden Centre will not be responsible for any work or maintenance after 20.05.19
