Hard Landscaping
Hard Landscape is the use of construction materials to develop the “built” aspect of your garden. Materials used in hard landscape include rock, pebbles, coloured aggregates, brick, concrete, wood and terracotta. These can be applied to create paved areas, walls, pathways and fencing solutions to your garden. Hard landscape also includes garden furniture and ornamentation as well as ceramic pots, birdbaths, sundials, figure and animal sculptures.
Thetford Garden Centre is supplied by and works with leading product suppliers to meet all these hard landscape requirements for your garden. It also endeavours to promote local and regional businesses. A dedicated and informed team is on hand to facilitate your ideas and creative designs. This is further complimented by a close working relationship with our well stocked outdoor plant department – the “soft” landscape or planted element to your garden.
We are currently developing a series of versatile garden installations with themes such as “cottage” and “wildlife” which illustrate and provide inspiration for hard and soft landscaping solutions to your garden project.
Paving
We stock an extensive and varied range of paving and walling products including circles, squaring off kits, imaginative stepping stone designs and concrete edgings from leading brand names including Stonemarket, Castacrete and Kelkay. Prices start from £1.95 for a 450mm x 450 mm (18”x 18”) paving slab available in red, stone and grey. Currently we are offering substantial savings on good quality Courtyard Oakham paving kits starting at £80.00 with a saving of over £30.00 for 30 x 450mm x 450mm paving slabs. These offers and more can be currently viewed in the display gardens. Whatever your requirements we are confident that we have the right product and price to suit your project.
Fencing and outdoor wooden products
With the centre stocking over 100 different wood products including fencing panels and posts, trellis, log roll, timber sleepers, arbours, arches, outdoor tables and seats we are sure we can cater for all your garden projects.
Thetford Garden Centre’s fencing range is second to none with a varied and extensive choice to suit all tastes and budgets. Our primary supplier is Forest Garden which is a national market leader with prices starting at £26.99 for a 1830mm x 1.22mm Clifton lap panel. We also stock a comprehensive range of associated fencing support products such as Met post fixing spikes, gravel boards, clips, right down to sand and cement mix for post fixing.
In addition we offer a competitive range of prices for trellis and palisade fencing and gates including fixings from our Goldstar supplier. Prices start at £12.59 for a 1.8mm x 600mm palisade fence.
We also offer a range of sheds of all sizes and designs which include TGB sheds based at Mildenhall. As agents we can order from this local manufacturer and stockist. They also provide an installation service.
Brand new to our product range are Summerhouses and log cabins from Forest Garden. An example of one of the log cabins available can be seen in the outdoor plant area where additional catalogue information can be found.
Aggregate
Our ever expanding Aggregate and Rockery range offers an extensive selection for you to choose from. Whether it is traditional pea gravel or something more decorative such as slate chippings or Mellow Buff stone you can be sure we have the right decorative aggregate to compliment your garden. We also stock grits and sands for horticultural use including play sand for children’s play areas.
Bulk Bags available: All our range of slates, cobbles, pebbles and chippings are available in bulk bags direct from Kelkay, all subject to Kelkays terms and conditions.
